HTC is a tech company from Taiwan that started out in 1997, originally focusing on designing and making laptops. But when smartphones started taking over, HTC jumped into the scene as well. In the beginning, they mostly made Windows phones, but those didn’t really take off compared to the booming Android market. Eventually, they gave Android a shot, and their first Android phone, the HTC Dream, came out in September 2008. After that, they fully switched over to Android. Some of their most well-known and loved devices came from the HTC One series, especially the HTC One (M7) which launched in 2013. That phone was a big hit and really helped HTC gain attention and recognition around the world.
