Xiaomi (also known as Mi) is a popular and well known brand around the world. A few years ago this Chinese company became a big name in the smartphone market, especially in China. Before that another famous brand called Samsung was the top choice. But in 2015 Xiaomi became the number one smartphone brand in China a country with over 1.4 billion people! Because so many people wanted Xiaomi phones, the company boss became one of the richest people in the world. Even another big brand like Apple started to face tough competition in China because of Xiaomi success. After becoming popular in China Xiaomi started selling its phones in the USA too and many people there liked them as well.
